The Crescent Hotel is a Grade II listed building, located in the center of Scarborough and 10 minutes’ walk from South Bay Beach. The hotel overlooks the pleasant Crescent Gardens.
Fresh local seafood and prime Yorkshire steaks are served in the award-winning Reflections Restaurant. A less formal dining experience is offered in the carvery, which features roast beef, Yorkshire puddings and steak and kidney pie. Home-cooked crisps are served in the bar, which can be found on the ground floor.
A private bathroom, flat-screen LCD TV and 100% goose-down quilts are featured in all rooms at The Crescent.
Brunswick Shopping Center is only a 2-minute walk from the hotel, and the opening to North York Moors National Park is only a 15-minute drive. Scarborough Railway Station and Stephen Joseph Theater are both a 5-minute walk.

We dined at Reflections at The Crescent Hotel for Sunday lunch, on the recommendation of our local hosts. The service was incredible and everyone that helped us was lovely. We enjoyed a drink in the bar before going through to the dining room for our three course meal. The menu featured many great options, including vegan, and the food was delicious. The roast dinners were a real treat with delicious veggies. It was wonderful experience, and great value for money. Would highly recommend!
Large party, festive meal yesterday which was fabulous. The food was excellent & the service was outstanding. Massive thank you to Richard, who single handedly served us drinks, took our order delivered our order, cleared our table and kept us topped up with drinks, well done! Definitely recommend this place. Superb 😍
We held My Dads 80th Birthday Meal here for the family on Saturday. From first contact with the hotel right through to the night itself I couldn’t fault the team at the hotel, they were very helpful, friendly and hospitable. The food itself was first class and everybody said how nice it was. We were not rushed and felt comfortable at the hotel. Big Thanks especially to Nadine.
After having a bad experience with accommodation in Whitby I decided to go to Scarborough the crescent accommodate me at very short notice they couldn’t fit me in on the first night but didn’t let me go until they looked to see other availability in the area the next two days I stayed at the crescent what a lovely welcome and the rooms were excellent spotless & nothing was to much trouble breakfast amazing choices I wish to say thankyou to all the staff including the cleaner what a wonderful place .you all give 100% thankyou Linda
This was the first time we had stayed in the centre of Scarborough, and loved it. Perfectly placed to access all parts of the town and the resort, with no need to use the car. The hotel itself was very comfortable and clean, with a variety of seating areas. The staff were very pleasant and the food was excellent, especially the evening meals. We would certainly recommend The Crescent to our friends and would definitely stay here again,
