A dated hotel but spotlessly clean. Good facilities. Staff cannot do enough for you and make you feel like family straight away. Breakfast top quality and delicious. Will definately go back xx
Absolutely brilliant stay last night. Great value, location is fantastic, owners literally can’t do enough for you, friendly, polite, always smiling, just good people, breakfast was absolutely spot on as well. This will 100% be our first choice the next time we visit Scarborough.
One of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. We went out for the evening to enjoy a concert, only to return to find our room absolutely swarming with flies. It was disgusting and completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, the hotel had no fly spray available — instead, a staff member sprayed dog grooming spray around the room, which of course did nothing to solve the problem. We were told at the time that we would be given a full refund, but weeks later we are still waiting. Every time we call, we’re told “someone will get back to you,” but nobody ever does. It feels like they are blatantly ignoring us and hoping we’ll just give up. This experience not only ruined what should have been a special trip but also showed how unprofessional and unprepared this hotel is. I would strongly advise anyone considering staying here to think twice
Went for a family meal, food was good and alcohol free drinks available as I was driving. Dog friendly but the area for people with dogs was not very big.
Lovely place to stay. Spacious room, lovely staff, good cooked breakfast. Great location!
