It is a very old grave yard with a beautiful old church. It's one of the most beautiful places in Scarborough. The compound is very beautiful and well maintained. The view of the sea and surroundings is stunning from this place. You should visit this place, if you are visiting Scarborough!
A literary landmark. A steep walk up from the beach but with beautiful views and the church has a small cafe. Plenty of benches nearby.
Though a little tricky to find (at the back of an overflow car park) Anne's grave has been lovingly maintained and offers a perfect site of pilgrimage for fans of Agnes Grey and The Tennant of Wildfell Hall. Stunning views of the bat as well.
Sorry but I felt slightly underwhelmed by the grave, although location is stunning. Located in the yard just outside from the main church with lovely views. Suggest going into the church which is beautiful and during Tues to Fri offers refreshments.
It's not a very nice location, and there's a marked degree of weather damage to the original headstone. An additional stone has been laid upon the grave. It appears that many people visit this place if the wear to the ground is anything to go by. For any visitors coming here, you should obtain a parking disc, they are available free of charge and will give you two hours of free parking on the street.
