Lovely little piece of history that is fun to have a go on and a much easier way to get to the town centre from the beach than walking. There are not many of these left, so it is well worth making the effort to take a ride.

Saves your legs from the climb. 😊 It's also available every 2mins. Fare is £1.50 for a single and £2.60 for a return. It was quite an experience knowing that the tramway has been there for such a long time and is still working and used until today.

Charming Victorian cliff railway. Had a real feel of nostalgia. The cars have some lovely stained glass. The ride is very short, but for £1.50 and also avoiding climbing the steps from the beach, well worth it.
