Grand statue for Queen Victoria near hotel in Scarborough There is a little historical facts: Queen Victoria visited Scarborough multiple times during her reign. She first visited the seaside town in 1835, before she became queen. However, her most notable visit occurred in 1858. Queen Victoria, accompanied by Prince Albert and their children, spent two months in Scarborough. They stayed at Scarborough Castle, which was used as a residence for the royal family during their visit. The queen enjoyed the picturesque coastal scenery and took part in various activities such as bathing in the sea and exploring the surrounding areas. Queen Victoria's visits to Scarborough contributed to the town's popularity as a fashionable seaside resort during the Victorian era. Statue is free to see in little park, benches available to seat nearby and eat 🐠 and 🍟

We didn't think the statue of Queen Victoria in Scarborough was anything special. However, the view she has is fantastic. Although Victoria herself isn't interested. 😁

Interesting historical statue with a decent view nearby + a load of benches for having a sit down, or your stuck hanging around waiting to go to the driving theory test centre nearby.
