Fantastic little station with a great train ride, my son absolutely loved it. Well maintained and the staff were great.
Fantastic place to bring the family of all ages. My advice is walk along the beach towards the Sea Life Centre and catch the train from Scalby Mills Station from there. Here you will only have to pay one way, see the train turn round on the turn table and have a quick drink in the cafe before the train comes in. At the other end of the journey you will have a wet flume ride to have a go on, a high climbing frame, water balls, shop and a larger cafe for dinner. Again watching a variety of other trains. Plenty to do "enjoy the ride" they say
Great to take our Grandson to one of my greatest childhood memories from the 70's. Fantastic to make new memories for me and now our Grandson
A very scenic railway running along the coast. The sea life centre can be found at this station. The station itself has a turn table for the train to change direction. A great way to pass some time
We enjoyed the ride from Scalby back to the main station alongside the coast. The space in the compartments was tiny, as 3 reasonably sized adults we were squashed but as the ride is short it's bearable. A fun activity for children.
