I was booked in for a 3 hour stay and a deep tissue massage and everything was amazing, all the steam rooms were very clean and relaxing. I was able to enjoy a stunning sea view from the sauna. When it was time for my massage, I emphasised that it was my first time getting one and all of my needs were accommodated, I've never felt such a release of tension, it was a wonderful experience. At the end of the treatment I was told to take as much time as I needed, nothing felt rushed wich is really what I needed. I finished off my stay in the hay bath wich I highly recommend, it was incredibly peaceful. I will 100% be returning more regularly to treat myself. Thankyou to all the staff for making my visit comfortable.
We booked this spa on a discounted deal (£25 for 2.5 hours, reduced from £40 for 3 hours) and left feeling very disappointed and honestly a bit conned. The main reason we booked was for the outdoor infinity pool. On arrival, we were told it was “shut over winter” — something that was not highlighted anywhere on the website, during booking, or on our tickets. We were instead told we could use the general public outdoor pool, but this closed at 7pm. By the time we had changed, we only had around half an hour to use it, which was very frustrating. We were then also told that the clay steam room was broken that day, further reducing the facilities available. To make things more confusing, several boiler/maintenance rooms were unlocked and initially looked like sauna rooms until you opened the doors. There were no clear instructions on arrival about where to go for the spa or how the lockers worked. The lockers themselves were located far away and separate from the spa area, making it difficult to access personal belongings during the session. No towel or robe was provided because we had booked via a deal — we were told these are only included for “general admission”. Again, this was not made clear at booking or stated on our tickets. Overall, it was not a relaxing experience and did not feel like good value, even at the discounted price. I wouldn’t recommend this spa and won’t be returning.
Lovely evening. Augfus was very entertaining, professional with beautiful aromas. Great Spa facilities spotless and views of the coast from the sauna . All the staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Special mention to Jess and Mel, they always go the extra mile.
