Dales View Holiday Cottage

Have just recently returned from a stay in the lovely Dalesview Cottage. It is a lovely property which is very comfortable, cosy, exceptionally well equipped and nicely furnished. It has a lovely garden which is south facing and has beautiful views both up and down Wensleydale. There are walks available from the cottage around and into the hills and also down into nearby Hawes. The hamlet where Dalesview is located, Sedbusk, is also a charming and pretty place. There’s also no passing traffic as there is no through road, We would definitely return to and recommend Dalesview Cottage to anybody thinking of going there.👍

What a special place! We had a wonderful two weeks at Dales View and are already longing to return. The cottage is spacious, very clean, well-equipped, well-maintained, and charming, with stunning views from the front garden in any weather. The sitting room, complete with wood-burning stove, is perfect for curling up with a book, and the cottage has not one, not two, but SIX special reading nooks, complete with blankets. We can't wait to return!

Stunning location and cottage. Been here many times. We love to explore by bike and the town is well served for cyclists. Just as you imagine a country cottage to be. Loads to do around here, walks and waterfalls everywhere. Brilliant for cycling. Winter breaks are great in the snow the place takes on a whole new feel. Nothing better than curling up near the fire after a good wintery outing. Truly amazing place. THAT VIEW!!
