A fab walk from Wharram le street to the beacon
Some sites had suggested that this was a good point of interest on a walk. It's basically a bit of wasteland with a beacon on it. The views are pretty good, and you could probably park a couple of cars there, but its a 5 min stop, not something to go see
Lovely scenery and a place of peace and reflection with plenty of car parking. Great walks in the area; enjoy!
This is not the Settrington Beacon and trig point marked on the OS maps, that is a bit further along the road.
