Fantastic party venue! Booked for our 4 yo. and start to finish the team handling our booking were fabulous. The space is excellent, the kitchen full of everything you might need, and great facilities. Highly recommend
So nice indeed to see good reviews!, - thanks to all, .. but speaking as a trustee of WCC, (we are a charity) there is only one part time paid post (for Bookings)- all the centre is run by volunteers; "staff" can imply paid personnel. We want to keep the place affordable so that folks can get together.
We used Walkey Community Centre for a 30th birthday party when weather changes meant we had to change our original plans and find somewhere to hire with less than 2 days notice. Luckily the hall was available and after enquiring we got a very quick response and had booked it within an hour! They were SO accommodating to allow us to go in with such short notice and it was the perfect sized space. There were plenty of tables and chairs to use and the kitchen was well equipped, we were able to bring our own food and drinks in and play music through the speaker system. It's a great venue and I will definitely recommend it to anyone needing somewhere to hire for a function in future!
We supply bouncy castles here regularly. Nice sized venue for a birthday party.
Good community hall with toilets and good kitchen area. Parking on site which is great as on street parking can be limited
