My kids and I love this park so much. They can play with scooters, big playground and water playground as well! The car park alongside the park is very handy and it is free! Public toilets available . Nice cafe in front of small lake. In the lake, there are boats to ride.
Nice park, not been here since I was a kid. car park was a reasonable price and safer than parking on the main road, especially with kids and animals. Mini skate & bike park, cafe and ice-cream van, park with swings and zip line etc. Pond with swans and dragons to hire (peddle boats). Just missing the lido, would have liked to see that again, how times change. Will visit again with the grandkids, Enjoyed 😊
A playground for children of all ages. For younger children(from about a year) there are swings, slides etc. For older children there are climbing frames, rope bridges, water park and a number of balancing equipment etc. A large amount of equipment which children of all ages enjoy playing with. It is set in a large park with paddle boats which you can hire, various football, hockey, tennis courts and other pitches which you can play games on. Often there is a bouncy castle there as well. There is also s nice cafe in the park.
Nice playground and parkland. Stream running off to one side. Gets very busy at the merest hint of good weather. But there are quieter spots to relax even during the busier times. Park has a small boating area, cafe, amenities and tennis courts (we haven't used these but noticed they are charged for) Nice place to visit for those of all ages.
Nice park, long thin walk with a car park at each end. Runs along the river. The children's play area was very busy almost overcrowded with kids. (2pm sunday) would go again though when it's a bit quieter.
