This court disclosed my home address and all my personal information to the father of my daughter who had me physically attacked when pregnant. This was despite me filling in a confidentiality form which should have prevented him obtaining my details. They did nothing to rectify the situation, just a letter saying sorry and that’s it. I had to spend 8 weeks in court trying to get a non molestation order because of their mistake and nothing was ever done about it. That whole entire time I spent scared wandering if something would happen to myself or my daughter. Then after this, I was appalled that they sent me a letter to my home which was actually addressed to the respondent. The respondent has never lived at this address, it was just an oversight from lack of care and attention to work. How can you be that insensitive and unobservant? Just completely careless with peoples data and do not appreciate the consequences this can have in regards to safeguarding children. Court orders were sent to a solicitor who no longer works for me, asked them why have I not received the information they said it’s with your solicitor. I don’t have a solicitor? They had of course shoved my notice of representing myself within a random folder that had nothing to do with the hearing and therefore hadn’t processed it. Their process servers supposedly can’t find the respondent yet as soon as my solicitor tried she was able to serve papers the same day so why can the court not do so? This resulted in it taking 8 weeks to serve a court order. They have no idea what the law is and made court orders only to back track and say that the order was not enforceable by law and then backtrack again saying I would have to reapply and go through entire process again to come out with the same decision they initially ordered. I don’t think that someone who holds only a bachelors degree in English should know the law better than a judge and cafcass? Absolutely ridiculous and put myself through prolonged stress unnecessarily. Again no responsibility taken for mistake or apology given. Despite making special arrangements to not be sat in the same area as the respondent who instigated a physical attack on myself and whose friends had threatened me on a number of occasions, I was made to sit within half a metre of the respondent with nothing to stop them attacking me again. Respondent was able to hold my daughters hand and walk around with her without any support from security staff and this is supposed to be acceptable? Allowed the respondent to enter the court despite it being noted that he smelled heavily of cannabis. There should be a zero tolerance to drugs and alcohol when children are present. Someone with a history of violence and who has been using drugs should not be allowed within the court.

Do any phones exist at this place or is it that the staff have not had the training to answer them? Rang everyday for a week for over 20mins with no answer...great service being provided.
