Love this quietness place, lovely for scholastic activities. The duck pond, the old wooden bridges, the grasses are well preserved.
The university does not spend sufficient funds on its students.They wont even provide a microsoft word subscription for its students. As a postgraduate student, I would recommend to others looking to do postgraduate studies that they should explore their options into picking a university that invests back into its students
One among the top 5 universities in UK. Had really great time here. This was for graduation ceremony of masters in civil engg student and masters in electronics engineering student. My ex room mates
Just went to the open day today, the university is huge. Teachers are friendly and helpful, received lots of useful information here. I got a bit lost cus the place is so big, some buildings are bit complicated to walked to, but there's lots of students who lead us there.
It seems a great university, with excellent student union, some tradition and modern building. The connection to the nature (Peak District is in the neighborhood), industrial partners and local community create a vibrant place.
