I visited recently and had two cocktails during my time there. One was Be Our Guest and another (the name escapes me). That cocktail ended up being my favourite, featuring cream washed whiskey, shortbread, real white chocolate and charred raspberries macerated in alcohol (then fine strained). The flavour was intensely smoky, almost like tasting the smell of a recently burnt wood fire. The smokiness lingered for over half an hour after finishing the drink, which was seriously impressive. The interior is very cool and one of the strongest parts of the experience. Set inside an old converted public toilet, the space has real character. The white broken bricked walls, rusted metal water drips down white tiles and ambient lighting all work together to create a distinctive atmosphere that feels considered rather than gimmicky. Both members of staff working were exemplary. Their customer service was excellent, informative without ever feeling belittling, attentive throughout and genuinely personable. They added a lot to the overall experience and made the visit even more enjoyable. Overall, this is a place that delivers on creativity, atmosphere and service. Somewhere I would happily return to, especially for cocktails like that.
Nice drink and chat with the bartender. I had 3 rounds before dinner and it feels good.
An intimate, first-come-first-serve bar with a sense of occasion. The setting is undeniably unique—housed in a renovated public toilet—which is both intriguing and slightly off-putting. Cocktails are expensive but crafted with real artistry right in front of you, making the experience feel personal and indulgent. Service is exceptional: warm, engaging, and a true highlight of the visit. The atmosphere matches the exclusivity, offering a refined space for those willing to dress the part.
Had a lovely few cocktails and a great service from Nyah. Walked me through her personal favourites and recommended cocktails based off my tastes. Was much appreciated
One of my good friends took me here as part of to trying out a few bars/ pubs for my first time in Sheffield and was a lovely bar to have a chat over a cocktail or two. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful asking us if we needed anything/ attentive as well as gave us tips on the drink flavour profiles. It’s a unique intimate setting but quite quirky/novelty place for a drink in Sheffield. Considering how much they fit into one drink it’s definitely worth a try to see if there’s one that fits you and is good to support local bars!
