Service was good, server was great but unfortunately the portion sizes of the beans and cheese on a big potato was outrageous. Need to work on their portion sizing had so much potato and less fillings not worth the price very disappointing.
Visited at 1.15pm and they had run out of bacon and tomatoes. There is a Sainsbury's opposite! Wouldn't be an issue if it was a one-off but it happens regularly these days. It used to be one of the best sandwich shops in Sheffield for many years, but now it's changed hands they regularly don't have basic ingredients. Did I mention there's a Sainsbury's opposite? They sell all sorts of useful sandwich ingredients...
I saw a queue outside and decided that it must be good. I was not mistaken. The food was excellent although the mistake I did make was to order a large instead of a regular sandwich as a large was practically a loaf of bread stuffed with delicious chicken and bacon. They also have a loyalty card scheme which is a nice touch and I will be back again.
Visit here quite often either for breakfast or lunch and have never been disappointed. Staff are friendly, service is quick and easy, sandwiches are reasonably priced and quality is second to none. Tends to get really busy around lunch time with queues forming outside due to popularity, but they've never ran out of anything that I wanted to order. Their loyalty card scheme is also fantastic getting a stamp on it every time you purchase a sandwich, salad or jacket potato and enabling you get one for free every 7th purchase.
Can't recommend this place enough. The sandwiches are great value and filled to the brim. The staff that work here are genuinely a group lovely people. Tried various other sandwich shops in Sheffield City centre and none of them compare!!
