Hazy Club is honestly one of the most disappointing nightlife experiences I’ve had in a long time, especially considering what this venue used to be. Back when it operated as CODE:, this place was genuinely a top-tier nightclub great atmosphere for students, solid music, and somewhere you actually looked forward to going. Unfortunately, whatever made CODE: good is completely gone now. The problems start before you even step inside. The area outside the club looks neglected and dirty, with what appeared to be clear signs of rodent activity around the entrance. That alone immediately kills the mood and raises serious questions about cleanliness and upkeep. First impressions matter, and this was a bad one. Inside, it doesn’t get any better. Drinks are insanely overpriced, even by nightclub standards, and nowhere near worth what they’re charging. You’re paying premium prices for a very average (at best) experience, which just feels insulting. On top of that, the staff were consistently rude and dismissive. There was no sense of hospitality or professionalism, just an attitude that made it feel like customers were an inconvenience rather than paying guests trying to enjoy a night out. One of the most frustrating parts of the night was how early they closed the doors. With no real explanation, the night was cut short, which gave the strong impression that the club may be struggling financially and is scaling back rather than delivering a full experience. If that’s the case, it certainly shows in the overall vibe: empty energy, poor management, and a general sense that the place is being run into the ground. What makes this all worse is knowing how good this venue once was. The fall from CODE: to Hazy Club is dramatic and genuinely sad to see. What used to be a respected, lively nightclub now feels poorly maintained, overpriced, and mismanaged. There are far better options out there for your time and money. Hazy Club just isn’t worth either anymore.
