What a treat! We travel around the country quite a bit and we are always on a look out for a nice curry house. This place exceeded all expectations! Lovely setting with comfortable seats, all the staff were absolutely wonderful and always smiling! Real star of this place? The food! Delicious dishes full of flavour, fluffy rice, everything was just perfect! Lamb Handi with tender meat, and Chicken Balti Chilli Garlic Masala to die for! Next time we're in Sheffield, we'll be back! Thank you!
We were extremely impressed with how the restaurant takes allergies and dietary requirements very seriously. Staff are really lovely and attentive, they go out of their way to be welcoming. We really enjoyed our evening dining here and the food is excellent. The pickle tray is better than most Indian restaurants and all our dishes complimented each other.Many thanks Natalie and family.

Been here on numerous occasions as the food is really nice and you get plenty of it. Staff are very friendly and courteous and the place can get busy so best to book but we only decided at last minute to go and we got a table straight away. One thing I find at Butlers is that we always feel rushed we had only just started on the poppadoms and we were asked if we wanted to order any mains, this happens several times which is fair enough but we were sat chatting and wanted to relax and take a bit of time but it wouldn't/ hasn't stop me going again as we have never had a bad experience here.
I was back in Sheffield for a visit and I decided to go to Butlers Balti for an Indian meal with a friend who I haven't seen in a while. I reminded him about how good Butlers Balti used to be over 30 years ago when they were at the top of Broad Lane in Sheffield. I understand they moved to the bottom of Broad Lane about 16 years ago but as I said I haven't been in over 30 years. Wow is all I can say. It used to be great, but now it is probably even better than it used to be. The service and atmosphere was great, but the food was outstanding. Rarely, if ever do I eat everything I order at an Indian, but this I just had to finish. I'm now absolutely stuffed and can't eat anything else. For anyone wanting a great Indian meal, do yourself a favour and visit Butlers Balti. It is Amazing. Rob
