Lovely well established Authentic Chinese restaurant in Sheffield near the moor. Lovely mural outside too. We really like the vibe & large portions here and the staff are knowledgeable and polite. Will be visiting again soon for vegan 🌱 hotpot hopefully thanks ☺️
We came for lunch last Thursday at 12pm and the restaurant was quite empty. Everything looked good organising and clean. We ordered "mini hotpot" which was over £20 but the portion was not really big. Foods were pretty nice. But we felt annoyed with their service cause even we were group of 4 and that was noy busy hour at all, 2 waitresses just stood and saw us sometimes, then we asked for some spoons, and it was so ridiculous when one lady brought to us only 1 spoon, and we kept asking for 3 more but she still brought 1 and ignored us then with a unhappy face.

I recently visited China Red, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The flavors were authentic, the portions generous, and everything tasted freshly prepared. I especially loved the Fried Diced Chicken with dried chilies perfectly spicy with a great mix of crunch and tenderness. The “ Yuxiang” Chicken were juicy and flavorful, and the gongpo chicken had just the right balance. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food came out quickly. The ambiance was cozy yet modern—great for both casual dinners and special nights out. Highly recommend if you’re craving real Chinese food that’s both satisfying and comforting. Will definitely be coming back!
