Incredible service by the young man behind the counter, very respectful and full of manners. The BBQ big smoke loaded fries was impeccable and probably the best loaded fries I’ve ever had thus far, full of flavour and the loaded biscoff was heavenly and it’s not overpriced at all. Outstanding.
One of the worst “Mexican” food I’ve ever had. The quesadilla has lettuce, red cabbage and tomato in it!!! The tortilla itself was very dry and they also cut it into these weird shapes, like quesadillas should be served and triangles. I also had the mushroom tacos - disgusting almost. The corn flour tortillas were bad, the taco drenched in so much sauce that you could only taste that.
Had the best pulled mushroom burrito and I’m not a huge burrito fan either. Was told they’d changed recipes recently to a house spice mix and I definitely score it a 10/10! Got a pic half way through totally forgot, was way too nice hehe
If i could put 0 for service i would, server seemed angry, heard him speak to someone else and was rude, didnt tell me it costs more money for beef and patronising me because i didnt understand the menu but I have dyslexia so i asked what meat was in the taco and he shook his head at me. The beef was dry and tasted old, the chips were spicy and flavourless not worth almost ÂŁ20.
The food was outrageously good. The service was (and I cannot state it strongly enough) UTTERLY HORRENDOUS. I'm not expecting all-out fireworks and cartwheels from those serving me, but a "thank you" and not to be as outright miserable as they were would have gone a long way. Don't work there if you don't want to be there! I won't buy from them again simply because there's dozens more food vendors at Cambridge Street Collective who at least appear not to be as rude and disinterested. Sort your staff out, because the food is great. The customer service is appalling.
