Himawari Sushi & Japanese Restaurant

I can't compliment this restaurant enough. We went on Christmas Eve. Such a beautiful little hidden gem. The staff are lovely and caring. The food was unreal. Best noodles I've tried in Sheffield. Absolutely incredible experience! The food was more than amazing. I genuinely loved every single dish. Everything came out fast, from the drinks to the appetizers, and the service was just as quick and efficient. We ordered the takoyaki (loved it, very hard to find well made one), gyozas, beef brisket ramen, and the Himawari sushi boat. For dessert we had the apple spring rolls, and we received some panna cotta too. Every item was excellent, and “excellent” is not a word I use unless something truly impresses me. The servers were extremely polite and friendly, which made the whole visit even better. Overall, an outstanding Japanese spot that I can’t recommend enough!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Himawari Sushi & Japanese Restaurant and was thoroughly impressed by the quality and variety of the food. For our meal, we enjoyed a delightful spread that included two hearty bowls of ramen, a beautiful sushi roll, and a plate of gyoza, accompanied by a bowl of fluffy white rice. The Ramen was the absolute highlight. The rich, savory broth was incredible, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. The generous cuts of tender beef and the perfectly soft-boiled egg made it a deeply satisfying and comforting dish—definitely a must-try! The Sushi Roll (which appeared to be a salmon-topped roll with a drizzle of unagi sauce) was equally excellent. The salmon was fresh, the ingredients were tightly rolled, and the presentation was beautiful. It was a perfect balance of flavor and texture. The pan-fried Gyoza were crisp on the outside, tender and juicy inside, and served with a wonderful dipping sauce. They were the perfect appetizer to share. Overall, everything was delicious, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was attentive. If you're looking for top-notch Japanese cuisine, especially fantastic ramen and fresh sushi, I highly recommend checking out Himawari Sushi & Japanese Restaurant. I can't wait to go back!

Food was fresh, flavourful and well prepared. All of their dishes are halal too! Was very impressed by the presentation, and staff were extremely friendly! Would definitely visit again ❤️

We had buy 1 get 1 free deal- Crunchy dragon roll& California roll+ their new addition to the menu with shrimp and salmon. All were great but loved the crunchy dragon roll more! The space was clean, service was quick and staff were great!
