KYŌYŪ SUSHI & BBQ

Korean BBQ is definitely a fun experience everyone should try once. The gyozas and takoyaki were fantastic. The BBQ itself made for a different date night. It certainly entertains more, perhaps more choice of side veg would be preferred. Noticed lots of things were physically crossed off the menu, so some things I'd planned to try are no longer available. Not sure if this is temporary or permanent change but definetlty concider. Only downside was watching the waiter confused how to make a fridge door martini (or sake-tini if you will) it was delicious. But very overpriced for this.

Delicious, handmade sushi, great service and a wonderful atmosphere combine to give you a memorable experience. Will definitely return to try the Korean barbeque.

An Unforgettable Birthday Dinner at KYŌYŪ SUSHI & BBQ! We recently celebrated my daughter's birthday at KYŌYŪ SUSHI & BBQ in Sheffield, and it was an absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish. My daughter was eager to try this style of restaurant, and they truly surpassed all our expectations. The quality of the food was exceptional. We BBQ at our table and every dish was fresh, perfectly maintained, and bursting with flavour – a real testament to their culinary skill. Beyond the delicious food, the staff were amazing. They were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our evening special. Their friendly and professional service significantly added to the overall enjoyment of our meal. Finally, the atmosphere was positively memorable. It was the perfect setting for a celebratory dinner, creating a vibrant and enjoyable ambiance without being overwhelming. If you're looking for an incredible dining experience in Sheffield, whether for a special occasion or just a fantastic meal, we wholeheartedly recommend KYŌYŪ SUSHI & BBQ. You won't be disappointed!

I went for lunch and perhaps because it was a weekday, the place wasn’t too busy. It was easy to get a window seat, and the lighting was comfortable. From there, you could also see other dining areas on different floors. The staff were very polite, and after serving the food, they explained the dishes and how to enjoy them. When the charcoal grill wasn’t hot enough, they kindly added more charcoal for us. Yes, they use a charcoal grill, which I think requires more skill than gas or electric grills. The heat is less even, but I feel the food tastes better when cooked this way. The food was great value for money. We ordered a sharing platter with beef, lamb, chicken, shrimp, squid, and scallops. All the ingredients were excellent. The lamb had a rich flavour without being too gamey, and the squid remained firm and fresh after grilling. The scallops were also very good. There was nothing about the food that didn’t match the price. The only downside is that they don’t offer any non-alcoholic drinks, only basic water.

Me and my family went to this restaurant recently. Before we went, we didn't know what the quality of the food was. So we ordered BBQ for one and sushi. Guess what? It was absolutely fabulous. It was very fresh and we thought this was the delicious food, even the seafood was splendid. The price was acceptable, and we enjoyed our wonderful night. We will recommend this to our friends soon. Oh, also the service was excellent. There was very kind young lady who made us very happy. We loved the marshmallows after we had finished.
