This cozy little Indian place serves keralan cuisine (south of india) and has some really good dishes to offer. I've recently been here twice and the appetizers always steal the show. Appetizers/Starters - I've had deviled chicken which is great (almost like chicken chilly). Chicken 65 and Chicken lollipop have the same batter and spice mix, which is really nice too but a bit oily (go for 65). Cauliflower varuval is their "must try", light crispy boiled cauliflower florets with chat masala sprinkled. Main course - The malabar parotta is brilliant, perfectly crisp but soft made with ghee. It complements the curries really well. I tried two curries, Chicken Madras curry and Koonu Curry (mushroom curry) which were both okay in taste but not the best. We also tried their lemon rice which was a huge dissapointment. I guess Keralan cuisine highlights beef and seafood better so maybe those will be good but chicken curries didn't impress. Chapati's are meh, I would personally like a tandoor option. Overall, a good experience, 3/5. Servers are really nice as well as the owner/manager. Would definitely go again to snack on their appetizers.
The staff were so kind here, very helpful with holding doors and always gave a smile. The food was divine, though I must admit it's a bit on the spicy side despite one chili on the menu option, but the vegetable korma was delicious no doubt. The coconut rice is also very flavourful as well as the fried cauliflower starter. I would absolutely come here again.
The service was genuinely caring, and the atmosphere, along with the background music, created a perfect setting for dining. The food was delightful; the chicken 65 was full of flavor, and the daal was simply delicious. It truly made for a lovely meal.
Absolutely loved the authentic Kerala flavors! Every dish was rich in taste and beautifully prepared. A must-visit for anyone craving real Kerala cuisine!
Both awesome and a little off! Deviled chicken is my new favourite, brilliantly done — out of the world taste and ample quantity! 💯💯 Tried Kozhi Rasam, but the chicken bits were impossibly overcooked to the point where they became tasteless rubber pieces — also the quantity of chicken is a shame. I'm sure you'll fix this dish and live up to your reputation.
