I've walked past this restaurant so many times over the years not realising how good it is! On Saturday it was my first time dining at Piccolos. The staff was very attentive and friendly from the second you walk through the door, quick service too. The food was spot on! For starters we ordered the garlic bread and olives. For mains I had the pollo picante, it was very well presented and full of flavour. I really enjoyed my evening at Piccolos . I'd definitely recommend it to anyone, I'd say booking in advance is advised.

Visited for the first time last week after hearing good things. Will start by saying this is a cute little Italian which felt traditional and cosy. The staff were also very friendly and food reasonably priced. Unfortunately, I found the food let it down. The lasagna was not like any traditional lasagne I had tasted before. The tomato sauce was bitter in taste, and had very little meat within it. There were chewy bits of potentially carrots or celery within the sauce which made it unpleasant. The wine list was good. House red bold and juicy. House white was a bottle of Australian Hardy's which is ~£6 in the supermarket for an entire bottle, which was very disappointing for an Italian restaurant. Overall, reasonably good restaurant but far better options in Sheffield.

The best Italian meal I’ve ever had. An absolute gem. And listen to the waitress’ recommendations! Beautiful wine too.

We have never felt more at home at a restaurant. The ambiance, the food and the wonderful hostess made our anniversary meal so special. Thank you for that friendly, family run feel. The people who work there obviously love their job. The food was perfect and so flavoursome, they must use good quality, Italian ingredients.

We popped in without a reservation but they managed to accommodate us! Everything we got was delicious and we loved every detail. The garlic bread was my favourite! My husband loved the lasagne, very creamy and cheesy.. The dessert was amazing, unlike any other cheese cake we’d had before!
