The salmon platter is £15.45. The maki has hardly any salmon in it, it’s 90% rice. I would pay maximum £8 for this platter, much less double the price. I can cook rice and boil beans by myself at home, what’s the point of ordering sushi if there’s so little fish. Would give 0 out of 5 stars if I could. Should get a refund for this, it’s almost like a scam.
Katsu was huge and very tasty. Place is accomodating for babies, and include a high chair that was clean. Eat here.
Loved the place, very nice decor and food is great. Plenty of choices
Was recommended this place by a local friend, and wish I could've spent more time here. Portion sizes felt generous compared to the small handful of sushi places I've visited back in Belgium or the netherlands, and the staff all seemed to enjoy their work in the openly-visible kitchen. If the owner reads this, could you have the waitress you had working on saturday sep. 20th reach out? I'd like to thank her for her recommendations & effort!
Thoroughly disappointing experience after years of being a loyal customer. Friday night with no music, no atmosphere and no food on the belt. The same 4 plates of edamame circulated for the whole 2 hours we were in there. The one server seemed totally overwhelmed by simple drinks orders. It took 20 minutes to get 3 glasses of wine and a bottle of juice. Food took almost an hour to come out and was mixed quality. There was no tuna available. By the time the last dishes came out the rice in sushi rolls was warm. It seems priority was given to Just Eat orders over people who were actually in the restaurant. Our bill was discounted but it’s so sad to see somewhere that was so good having now become so poor.
