Booked for my wife’s birthday with the kids. Front row seat to look at the action happening in the kitchen. Very warmly greeted and made to feel comfortable immediately. Beautiful menu wonderfully explained by the host. We ordered a selection and all enjoyed everything we had. Standouts were the leeks with smoked brie, venison koftas and the smoked ice cream. The food is just a joy, cooked and served with utmost passion and it really feels like this is the chef/owners long held passion. This is a real gem of a restaurant.
We tried 6½ for the first time and, from the website and reviews, expected a nice meal. We weren’t prepared for such an amazing experience. The food is true fine dining – with some highly original and absolutely delicious plates to choose from. Surroundings and atmosphere are lovely, and the front of house team are completely charming and professional. We can’t wait for our next visit.
I came here last night for my birthday meal with my partner. We both thoroughly enjoyed every meal!! The flavour combinations were fantastic and we loved every single dish. My favourites were the mutton and the cheesecake dessert - WOW! We left so full and so happy! The staff are so friendly and Steph was brilliant at looking after us - thank you for making us feel so welcome. I would 100% recommend this restaurant and will definitely be coming back. Great value for money, we essentially got a tasting menu but half the price!
What a great place and the best meal I've had in Sheffield by a distance. Great atmosphere (somehow the Ibizan beats didn't overwhelm conversation) and great service. The food was excellent, especially the parmesan tart and beef rib, accompanied by a rather special Albariño. Sharrow Vale Road is now a bit of a good food enclave and this place is at the top of the pile, strongly recommended.
The tastiest dishes, accompanied by the most amazing service! The menu and dishes are very well explained and extremely well prepared, everything tasted amazing! I would highly recommend the steak, mushroom tarts and the squash dish, but you cannot go wrong with anything you order! 10/10!
