Sandwich was really bad. Sausages, bacon etc had old burnt bits of food stuck to them like they'd been cooked in dirty pans. Won't be returning
Hate to say this but this sandwich shop has really gone downhill in the last few months,,,, doesn't have half of the ingredients that is advertised,,, asked for a sausage sandwich on collection when I went to eat it it was cold and looked like it was made the day before,,, such ashame because it used to be a great sandwich shop,,,, there's a nice one round the corner from this place I recommend that to anyone reading this
Bread always fresh.whatever your needs this sandwich bar as the lot.owner nige is always on hand to give advice on the different array of sandwiches on offer .if not the two lovely polite girl staff Emma and cinders are at hand .I actually saw and was a witness a guy came in at 7.30am for chicken and chips nige out of the blue served up chicken and chips which the guy loved to bits and was so grateful .what a cafe this is fully recommend .

Sitting in the middle of what was a much busier industrial part of Sheffield, Effingham Sandwich Shop serves the type of good, honest affordable food that has been enjoyed by countless workers for years and years. In a world slowly being dominated by the American fast food and a coke outlets it's great to know that there are still places like this that serve food that bursts your belly and not your wallet!
