Receptionist Location: Sheffield – Grosvenor House Contract: 11 months (potential to extend or convert to permanent) Job Type -Onsite Working Hours: Monday – Friday First 2–3 weeks: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Thereafter: Rotational shifts (7:30 AM – 3:30 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) Flexible within the team based on operational needs Early closure at 4:00 PM on Fridays We are hiring a Receptionist with 1+ year of experience to join a dynamic team in Sheffield. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys front-desk operations, customer interaction, and administrative support. Role Overview The Receptionist will provide high-level administrative and front-of-house support, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for visitors and internal teams. Key Responsibilities Greet and direct visitors professionally Answer calls and manage switchboard inquiries Handle courier deliveries and outgoing packages Maintain visitor logs and issue security passes/badges Manage meeting room schedules and ensure proper setup Perform administrative tasks such as typing, filing, photocopying, and mail preparation Provide general office support as needed Skills Required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent customer service orientation Ability to multitask and manage time effectively Strong organizational skills with attention to confidentiality Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to work independently Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year of experience in a receptionist or administrative role
