Delivery Lead – Engineering Standards & Practice - Contract role Overview An experienced Delivery Lead is required to drive engineering standards, governance, and best practices across a portfolio of delivery teams. This role plays a key part in a broader transformation, helping define and implement consistent, scalable ways of working across engineering pods. Key Responsibilities Lead initiatives focused on engineering standards and delivery excellence Define and implement best practices and governance frameworks Work across multiple pods to ensure consistency in delivery approach Partner with engineering and business stakeholders to improve efficiency and outcomes Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes and operating model Key Requirements Proven experience as a Delivery Lead, Senior Project Manager, or Engineering Lead Strong understanding of the software delivery lifecycle and engineering environments Experience driving process improvement and standardisation Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Ability to operate in a complex enterprise environment Highly Desirable Financial services experience Experience working in large-scale transformation programmes
