Do not use it. I have just been fined, dodgy machine, paid for parking, still got fined, after reading the reviews, I don't think there is much point of me wasting my time appealing. DO NOT USE SCAM
Con. I paid £7.50 and got £100 fine. Hadn't gone over. I had to walk in dark to a cash machine as their machine wouldn't take my card. Fine said car park is max of 6 hours so then why did it allow me to pay more than 6 hours.
Don't use - underhand & harsh penalties from unreliable payment machine. Last time I arrived, inserted £2.50 fee for 2 hours. Machine accepted money but failed to give ticket, despite pressing green button repeatedly. Then tried 'return payment' button several times and nothing returned. I had no further change and now late for appointment, so quickly wrote an explanatory note and left it in my window with my mobile number. Within a week was issued with a fine - £60 if paid in 2 weeks or £100. Had retained note and photographed so appealed explaining the circumstances and sent photo of my note, asking them to check their cameras as my attempts at payment should have been captured. Negative reply received saying still had to pay at least £60. Outrageous as had paid the fee. Discussed with friends and colleagues who have had similar experiences due to machine not working and fee paid. Will never use again and will tell everyone I know to avoid.
Do not use this car park! I’ve been charged a parking fine despite having paid for parking. The company Car Park Securities don’t have a telephone number on their website so you can only send an email. The appeals button on the website doesn’t work either. This means that you can’t make an appeal to the IPC because an appeal hasn’t been made against Car Park Securities. Absolute scam!
Always pay with card and take a photo of the parking ticket after you pay. I got charged (like so many others) although I paid. Now they threaten to take me to court as my fine is now £170. Absolute Scammers.
