Handy for visiting Kelham Island Museum. Use the Sat nav as there are a lot of one-way streets in the area . We walked through the new houses gardens, kept The Fat Cat pub to our left, cut through a little pay & display carpark. Walk straight ahead, round to your left past the vast wall mural.
Machine was faulty: it authorised card payment and offered me a receipt but then did not end up actually charging my account. I ended up with a PCN, and as I had chosen the "no receipt" option on the machine, I had no evidence to use for an appeal (upon contacting them, the operator refused to entertain that the machine could be faulty). If you have to use the car park, be sure to get a receipt.
Absolutely shameful. Ive been sent a final reminder letter for £100, when I have my bank transaction as evidence that I paid for a parking ticket !!!!!! Ive appealed the ticket and im telling you now, I will NOT be paying this so called fine of yours! PCN: 9003025199652 EITHER CANCEL THIS CHARGE OR TAKE ME TO COURT BECUASE I DID NOTHING WRONG!
Further to what people have already mentioned, I have been charged £100 for their ANPR system whilst fairly using it in the gym parking area, with a valid membership. I have made 7 emails as appeals as mentioned on their letter, all have been ignored. I cant even make an independent review of the parking charge because it has never been declined in the first place. ZZPS are now trying to reclaim £170 off me. This is clearly a daylight robbery, how is any of this legal? Speaking to the Gym group, this is a common occurrence for gym members, and they have had to do weekly mail rounds to resolve these issues. For people reading this, you have been warned about this company, they will unlawfully steal your money as they hold this power over you.
I parked here on 5/7/25 in the white space which states ‘public car parking’. I paid £2.50 which is for 4 hours. I paid using the contactless method on the machine. I even have evidence on my banking app… I have received a car parking ticket which states I spend 3 hours 9 minutes and 23 seconds here. All within my time limit. Why have I been given a parking ticket? I’ve sent an email in which I hope I get a reply but for now, if you are reading this, avoid this car park.
