Made the mistake of using this car park with a brand new car. The exits are seriously poor. I could see there was a risk of damaging the alloy but even being ultra careful i scratched it. The exits seriously need a complete redesign. I will be in contact with the owner. Please let me know the contact details to formally complain and request compensation. And do not dare to say using the car park is at my risk - the design is inadequate. Seriously inadequate.
Not bad, but i wont be using it again. pre paid for a place, the floors are very small so you have to go round and round upwards until you find a spot. I managed to find a spot on the 11th floor after waiting in the traffic upwards for a while. but coming out was horrendous. its so easy to get into the car park but getting out is horrible as its a small back road round the back trying to let hundreds of cars out which merges with 2 other streets and then through some light and then you can get out, but it was a 20 minute wait and i didn't have much time left to get out and its only by deciding to cut my shopping short did i get out of the building in time. This should have been done in reverse, with the exit put onto the main road, to get people out quickly. There's also only one small elevator to service the building which isn't great.
Shouldn't let vans park in here!. Had one barely fit into their bay and blocked me from getting into my car on the driver's side as they took up so much space and had no clearance in their bay!. Had to climb into my car's driver side via the passenger seat! If you drive a van. DON'T DO THIS TO OTHERS! PARK SOMEWHERE ELSE! Vans won't fit!
Tried it once - won't go back. The payment system is a joke. Pre booking makes no difference. I had to call for help only to find they couldn't find my reference or car reg at first. Eventually they found it and I got in. Wish I hadn't. It took 45 minutes to get out! I was in town for about 2hrs. Plus 15 minutes faffing about trying to get in to the car park and find a space..... and 45 minutes trying to get back out. A 2 hour trip became a 3 hour trip. You can see why the town centre is so empty. When you have places like Meadowhall and Crystal Peaks etc all offering easy, free parking..... why go into town?
The most extortionate car park and we were stuck in traffic for 45 mins trying to get out. It was like roughly £21 for about 6 hours. There was no price at the entrance and by the time we saw it was too late. It's not even that expensive when we go to Manchester. Definitely not incentivising us to come to Sheffield. Avoid this car park at all costs and use public transport or park and ride instead.
