Without any advance warning or on site notification, Bank Park have stopped using the Hozah auto payment platform. Drivers like myself have therefore inadvertently used the car park as normal and out of the blue received a £100 penalty notice for non-payment. I am still awaiting a response to my appeal.
Car park well located for Sheffield city centre. Be aware that there is absolutely no grace period offered so rather pay for a longer period. Had a celebration dinner at a restaurant up the street and paid £1 for 2 hours from 17h50 to 19h50. Got back at 20h17 and received an excess charge by post today of £60-00 parking excess charge for the 27 minutes. No wonder BankPark advertise as Parking with a Smile! Not so sure about the small print claim of offering friendly, fair and ethical car parking. Agree with other on-line comments that the car park surface is very rough being demolition rubble and also scraped the underside of my B-class Mercedes when exiting. Think before you park here
Be aware of the stupid slope design at entrance/exit, scratched the bottom chassis of my porsche. There are vehicles parking just beside the exit, blocking the view on both sides of the road.
Easy to book online & reserve a space. Never quite sure if my spot will have been taken as it’s always quite full. Great value for money.
The car park is in a great spot, but it's unclear how and who to pay for parking there. There are signs for 'HOZAH' and 'Twin Pay'. In the end, I downloaded the 'Twin Pay' app and am hoping for the best!
