WARNING. I read the negative reviews about this place and parked anyway. Got a fine even though machines were out of order and we left within minutes of entering. POPLA appeals were no help so expect to pay £100 for a ticket you would've paid £2 for, if the machines weren't broken. There are other ways you'll easily be fined: signage wording is misleading with regards to whether you should pay at the time of parking or time of leaving. Would recommend boycotting this unethical parking provider - tram in or park elsewhere.
In line with a lot of people, avoid at all costs. Signage says pay on exit, but doesn’t say how long you were parked for. Paid for 6 hours but apparently was there for 6hr 15. So clearly they could’ve told me. £100 fine. Go spend your money on a fancy taxi or something instead. The company that run this are unethical and deserve to go bust
Worst experience I have had. Fined for a six minute stay in the car park as part of picking up my daughter and leaving. Did not stay or park there. Appealed and they come back to say that I had six minutes to pay for parking. Notice indicated 10 minutes free parking. Have now appealed to POPLA which hopefully will help. Not intending to pay fine at this point for a pick up. It takes 6 minutes to get from the changing room next to the pool downstairs, upto your coaches after changing for permission to leave and then walk to the car park on the ground floor or catch the lift. Cant believe that i have had a fine for 6 minutes in a massive sports centre like this one
Convenient car parking for Sports Centre and also Travelodge etc with the horrendous one way system and ginormous roundabout etc. Be aware that signs indicate clearly that the car park is locked overnight when the leisure centre is closed.
do not park here. i took my 4 year old daughter swimming and paid at thier machine (that decide how much you should pay) we left and got in the car. yes it took a few minutes as it does with children. soon had a fine land on my door step for staying 13 seconds over the paid period. wow
