Booked a day before heading to Sheffield for a meeting and was flawless. Barrier opened upon arrival automatically and I found the spaces to be ample to park my Ford Kuga in. People have mentioned about the ramp up to the car park but this is not a problem at all and is similar to other city centre car parks. The car park was clean, well lit and I saw numerous members of staff on site so really reassuring. The entrance doors are controlled via your barcode or ticket so again this was reassuring. I wouldn’t hesitate to use this car park again. Well recommended.
The parking in the town centre was an excellent location, we arrived 2 minutes earlier than planned and left 4 hours earlier than planned to do so! Q parking have charged an additional £3.20p for those 2 minutes which I view as a complete rip off on top of the £8 paid to park, they haven’t knocked anything off for leaving four hours earlier 😂😂they have soured a straight forward experience, it’s my own fault for fault for arriving two minutes early, lesson learnt, I feel totally ripped off and will never use this company again, BUYER BEWARE, RTFSP (read the F small print)!!
If I could give a minus rating I would. This car park very regularly allows anyone who wants to park in the disabled bays do so, obviously no one checks it after 7pm, as all the bays are always taken by non blue badge holders. This is extremely annoying for customers who actually have blue badges and need the bigger spaces. Our last visit on Friday 3rd October was so bad it actually ended with us in a distressing and unsafe situation. One of the 2 lifts was out of order when we parked on the first floor. I had a child in a wheelchair with me so obviously the stairs were not an option. Returning from the cinema late at 10pm the other lift was now broken and out of order as well. We literally had no way of getting back to our car. No staff on site. No phone or even an emergency number to call. This is an absolute joke especially when the price of parking was astronomical at this carpark. Im sure not having access for customers with disabilities is actually illegal or at least breaking the Equality Act (in UK 2010). Avoid this car park at all costs if you are a wheelchair user and want to be guaranteed to be able to return to your car to go home
05.12.2025: I had tickets to attend A Christmas Carrol at the Crucible. I arrived with enough time to enjoy the well rated performance. I saw a queue at the Q Park, but screen showed in green "Spaces Available! However, this was not true, when i realised the file was not progressing, I could not reverse. I queue for 50 minutes. By then it turn out that there were NO spaces. The manager told me that unfortunately, the screen was wrong and required attention. That he has put a complain but this has not be addressed. Of course, I missed A Christmas Carrol and I lost 50£ for the 2 tickets I had purchased LAST October! It could not have been worst.
The parking spaces are a bit tight but I felt the cars are safe and the place is clean, I also think that the place is just a little bit expensive
