Space for about 6 cars and maybe another 10 in the little car park, all fed through two little streets. This is for the fourth largest city in the UK- unlike most cities, Sheffield only has a single train station. Taxis queue all the way down both sides of cross-turner street blocking it. The entire place gridlocks and is simply too small. There’s been several times I’ve dropped off and you can’t actually get into this carpark, it’s just a standstill. Using the multi story isn’t an option because the traffic on turner street is a standstill and blocks the entrance. I also don’t trust that I’d be gridlocked inside the car park and have to then pay extra for staying (not out of choice)! The multistory is inadequate alternative and also £25 for 24 hours is robbery. The station has no busses that actually stop nearby. This station needs an area x5 the size to just cope with today’s demands. Large drop off and pick up area with an equally large taxi rank.
Usually very busy, but it's so close to the station. If you're lucky, you can find a free slot.
Good little place to park to pick up from the train station. The traffic around there is a little crazy but does move and clear up quickly.
Not a very big car park for a big city. Luckily l did not need to park as used the drop off and pick up area
There is virtually no parking to drop anybody off at the station Or wait to pick them up. It's ridiculous.
