Has a tour of the bank at lunchtime today, what a refreshing change to your regular banking affair! Bright cool space, with everything you would love to see in a bank and don't! Welcoming dogs with water bowls, and treats, free pens, room available for private calls and meetings, and a money counting machine. Face to face communications with your bank manager, who can override the computer for decisions. Treating you like a customer, not a commodity! Oceans eleven style bank vault! And the magic money machine, a must for children piggy banks. Open seven days a week, even bank holidays! On the accessibility front, the whole bank is step-free and smooth surfaces, lots of turning room and clear signage. The toilet is accessible, has baby change, lots of room, bright fresh and clean mentioned the pedal bin and lack of paper towels, and my guide took note, I shall report more next week when I return to open my new accounts!
They have played psychological games with me. Made me travel an hour to the store twice to open a bank account, yet each time they had put up with excuses and complicating the process. That is despite the fact that before each visit I spoke to them over the phone and they advised me to go to the store with the documentation and played dumb when I was there. Don’t waste your time. They don’t worth your time.
Poor banking experience and complaints service. I opened a new account which was accepted then closed a week later. I had a remaining £1 left in the account and ask a store advisor is my account closed and what happened. They failed to provide reasons but assured me the account was closed. 4 weeks and two complaints later I am wasting hours travelling to a store to finalise the close and withdraw £1 as they can't transfer it to me or keep it with my permission. A lot of hassle for trying to be a customer. PLEASE AVOID OTHER BANKS ARE A LOT BETTER
