Got a nice maintenance cut for 17 pounds with student ID discount. Recommend!

I've been coming to Henger's once a month for years now and always had a great service. It's conveniently placed for me whether I'm on my way into town or passing on my way home from work. Never have to wait too long and whoever cuts my hair always does it just how I like it ( More often than not it's Karen that I see ) Staff are always friendly and welcoming, and there's always some good chatter going-on. Highly recommended for great all round service.

Been coming for years. I always look forwards to getting my haircut here. Staff are brilliant and very friendly. Always go out if there way to make sure you have the best experience. Wouldn’t want to get my haircut anywhere else :)

I got my haircut 2 weeks ago now and was debating whether to leave this review but it kept nagging at me so here we are. I Was served by the short blonde lady with glasses. The haircut itself was ok however the way I was treat throughout the service was appalling. As my hair is quite long I asked very politely whether she would be putting clips in. The moment I opened my mouth she snapped at me saying ‘yh I’m gunna do it!’. I was startled ; I have never spoken to in a manner like that by anyone let alone during a service I am paying for! I tried to ignore it as getting up and going to another shop was not possible for me due to my schedule. She continued to be rude throughout the service rushing and preventing me from communicating what I wanted done. Eventually she made a mistake on the left side of my hair. She initially tried to ignore it but as I tried to point it out she snapped at me once again saying ‘I’m going to blend it’ not even letting me speak. I don’t know whether she treats white customers in the same way or whether it’s just any one of a different Color to her. I paid for the service out of principle but safe to say I will not be returning and if you are non white I would advise you stay away from this place

If I could put 0 stars, I would. Horrible experience. Very unwelcoming staff, didnt even say hello, just 'what do you want'. Blonde haired lady seemed off her face, grinding her teeth and not looking while she cut my hair. My hair is now so uneven, all i wanted was some weight off the sides and top. Never going back.
