Absolutely fantastic service, from initial contact by phone staff were so helpful, courteous and polite, car was delivered same day and staff who delivered car were equally polite, helpful and courteous. Highly recommend. A difficult situation for me personally was made easier to deal with. Car is perfect.

Awful to be honest, booked and paid for an SUV for two weeks at £500. Turned up and was offered a Corsa or nothing at £320, and then told I have to phone up and speak to customer services to get a refund. That’s over a week ago and I’ve not received my refund. It’s now over 5 weeks since I was due my refund for my downgrade. I am owed £180 and the Sheffield branch refuse to answer the phone. I have spoken to customer services 4 or 5 times located at the head office. They are telling me that the Sheffield branch don’t respond to their requests for information in regards to my case. They requested this on the 31st October. Later on today I received an email saying I got what I paid for even though I have documentation stating otherwise. This is clearly an intentional act by Europcar who hope the consumers give up and write off their money. I have been in dialogue with my local MP who is looking into the obvious and intentional malpractice by Europcar. I advise everyone to ignore the good reviews which are clearly BOTs. Do not even contemplate using this company.

I booked (& paid for) a standard car 4 weeks in advance. Was told on the day of collection that it wasn’t available so given a very large people mover. Exactly what I didn’t want for driving through Derbyshire villages. Have been calling the branch to request replacement. They don’t answer. Get put through to the call centre who have left messages. Still nothing. Tried emailing: “we will respond within 7 days”.

I hired a ford transit for a couple of days. Everything went super smooth thanks to Dani! Dani was very friendly and helpful. He explained very patiently all the details of the hiring contract and insurance options. The drop-off was also very straight forward, again, thanks to Dani. I will be using this branch again.

Joanne at Europcar was so pleasant! My brother and I have nicknamed her the nicest woman in Sheffield. We had a bunch of questions as visitors from outside of the country and she answered them very patiently, and took her time going over our rental options. It was a very pleasant experience, and if you are in the area please ask for Joanne if you need any help renting a car! The process was quick, smooth, and efficient and I walked out feeling better than I did when I walked in. Thank you Joanne!
