Norfolk Park Medical Practice

I cannot recommend Norfolk Park Medical Practice highly enough. Dr Gilroy is truly wonderful — she listens carefully, gives me her full attention as if I’m her only patient that day, and never makes me feel rushed. Any referral has been clearly explained and has been prompt. The reception staff are always friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient, making the whole process of booking and attending appointments smooth and stress-free. All the staff are friendly, welcoming and know what they're doing, from the ANP to the nurses taking bloods. Every time I’ve contacted the practice, my concerns have been addressed on the same day, which gives me so much peace of mind. I'm constantly intrigued when I hear that people in the UK have to wait days or weeks to be seen because I've always been seen on the same day I've contacted them. Waiting times are short when I arrive and the waiting area is clean and with comfortable chairs. The added bonus is the easily available parking, which makes visits even more convenient. A fantastic surgery providing excellent care!

Fantastic surgery, can not recommend them enough. All of the receptionists are kind and polite. The doctors here actually make you feel listened too and cared about. After moving to this area a while ago I was very worried about changing practices but I have had a better experience here than any other GP's!

Honestly the best GP practice I've ever experienced. I have multiple, and complex health issues and the staff are wonderful. Even the receptionists who don't know my history are always welcoming and helpful. Truly a great service.

The receptionists are friendly and helpful! Straight forward process for getting an appointment and usually seen on the same day (if it’s needed). Always received excellent care and support from all 3 doctors and nursing staff that I’ve seen; they make you feel that they all have time for you (despite being extremely busy I’m sure!). It's the best GP surgery I’ve visited and would recommend to anyone.

I waited over a year for an appointment with a dermatologist, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Upon entering, I greeted Dr. Desai but received no acknowledgment—not even a glance. The interaction felt cold and dismissive, which left me feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable. I had hoped for a consultative and supportive discussion about my treatment options, but instead, I was met with a lack of engagement and interest. This made me hesitant to proceed with any treatment. Building rapport with patients, even through something as simple as a warm greeting or a smile, goes a long way in making them feel at ease. Unfortunately, that was missing during my visit. A more personable and respectful approach would have made a significant difference in my experience. I will be finding another dermatologist and another new clinic. My first time in this clinic was an awful experience
