When all our downstairs sockets failed, they came and quickly identified an unusual problem with the fuse board. They did a temporary fix and came back a few days later to fit a new board and check everything over. This was done cheerfully and efficiently, with everything left neat and tidy. Could not have been more pleased.

Borden Electrics have twice attended my house, the first time to repair my underfloor heating and fit new lights. Great communication from the company meant I knew when the work was taking place. The second was an emergency call out for an overheated transformer. I made an early morning call in a panic to Dave Borden and a few mins later I received a text confirming that Neil would be round to fix the problem. All the work was carried out expertly and without fuss. A have no hesitation in recommending this 5 ⭐️company.

What started off as a seemingly small job opened up all sorts of issues which Dave Borden steered us through very professionally and we ended up with a greater understanding of our electrics and the knowledge that our installation was at least safe although in need of upgrading. I can thoroughly recommend his firm and will definitely call upon him again for future work.

Dave Borden and his highly professional team did an excellent job rewiring our whole house. The work was interrupted by the Corona virus lockdown, and when the team returned to finish the work in July they were very careful to follow all the safety guidelines, wearing face masks at all times and wiping down all surfaces before leaving each evening. There was good communication from Dave about when the work would be done, and the electricians came when they were supposed to. We had a socket fixed and 1 replaced, 3 fans fitted in our bathrooms, a light fitting fixed and our gas meter earthed. All of the work was carried out to a good standard, particularly the earthing as this was a tricky job. They have also agreed to honour the manufacturers guarantee on the 3 fans, so if they break during the 2 year warranty they will be replaced by Bordens free of parts or labour charge. Overall I was very satisfied with the job. As Bordens are a company rather than a one man band the cost was more expensive but Dave told me the per hour charges in advance, and the guarantee and the standard of workmanship justified the extra costs.
