I’ve been renting through Northwood for 1.5 years, and I can confidently say that it’s been an exceptional experience from start to finish. The team at Northwood is professional, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure their tenants are happy and comfortable. Whenever I’ve had any concerns or maintenance issues, they’ve been addressed quickly and efficiently, with clear communication throughout the process. It’s evident that they genuinely care about their tenants and work hard to make renting as smooth as possible. After 1.5 years with Northwood, I can confidently say they are the best letting agency I’ve ever dealt with. Terrible service and experience overall. Had to chase with calls at every single step of the way. Staff didn't give clear and true information, shady behaviour around tenancy agreement; wanted to receive full payment of rent and deposit without sharing tenancy agreement for tenant to view. Had to chase for weeks to get second keys to the property as key was supposedly given to an unknown gardener who was meant to clear the garden. Dodgy behaviour around money I paid for security deposit, they gave landlord a different figure. Northwood received payment from me but didn't put the security deposit in a tenancy deposit protection scheme. Communication was terrible and process seemed very shady and poorly coordinated. Promised to fix some issues I had with the property within 2 weeks, nothing happened until nearly after the end of the 3rd week of rent payment. I would say approach with caution.
