Mount Pleasant Motoring Services Ltd

My van actually conked out on the M1 but I managed to limp off and park up on the A630 (Sheffield Parkway) at about 10:15. Call was placed to Mount Pleasant and they advised us that due to them being busy it would be 2 hours. The recovery truck finally turned up at 2:30. The driver was very professional and friendly and quickly got me loaded up within 20-30 mins and recovered us back to our unit. I know they were very busy that day so the long time is understandable. Overall the recovery was very professionally and efficiently dealt with.

Today we had a breakdown in Derbyshire and was recovered to Lincoln with no fuss at all. Adam the recovery driver was excellent, professional and sympathetic to our situation. Nothing was too much trouble and he looked after our vehicle and us (my wife and I and our dog Henry) very well indeed. We are very grateful to Adam and the Mount Pleasant Motoring Services for their prompt , courteous and exceptional response, along with their first class and caring service. Although I didn't actually end up needing their services, last night during torrential rain, my front wipers stopped working. Well, thry broke completely on the drivers side! I had to immediately pull over on the bypass and put my hazards on. Both myself and my partner were very anxious because of our location being so dangerous and a lack of safe area for us to stand away from our car. I called my car insurers for roadside assistance and Mount Pleasant Motoring Services Ltd were assigned to assist. The loveliest lady from their office rang and was, thankfully, a voice of reason in a very panicked moment. The rain started to slow whilst I was giving our location and details to her and as the conversation went on, it stopped completely. Because I was less than 15 minutes from home, she mentioned the possibility of driving back in hope that we made it before the rain started again. Common sense at a moment where a sense of fear had pushed it right out the window. So that's exactly what we tried, and was successful! I rang to cancel the call out with her and she even spoke to the AA to advise the call out was cancelled for me so I could get on with my evening. Really couldn't rate her more highly and would definitely use their services if needed in the future.

We broke down in our vito bus in longley after a very short wait we were welcomed by johnathon who went above and beyond. He helped my disabled partner in and out the truck. He was very chatty and made us all feel comfortable and we could not expect more! He was professional and absolutely brilliant!! He is a credit to mount pleasant motoring services Ltd. I had a flat tyre on a work vehicle. I was told I would be waiting up to 2 hours. It was recovered within 30 mins by Mark. I just want to give an about shout out to Mark as he was professional and a top bloke. Thanks again.
