For those considering a wet belt replacement with this garage. I would advise to look elswhere. I dropped my car off on the basis of an agreed quotation. After 3 working days, no work had been carried out and on the third day they said the oil pump needed replacing as part of the work to replace the wet belt. How is this possible if you havent removed the sump to inspect the oil pump in the first place? And if you had why was it not mentioned on the 2nd day when they rang me to confirm the car needed to stay for the weekend. Not least, the fact that this is typically included in the price for this type of job. I quickly asked for an itemised list of works they planned to do and requested they halt any work on the car before going any further. unfortunately they began to do work on the car and additionally they were unable to provide a sufficient itemised list of the work parts/labour in the overall quotation. Soon after I collected my car with a diagnostic fee as opposed to an inflated unexpected cost which I almost felt pressured into due to my need for the car. It's a huge shame, as I was without my car for 3 days (including the weekend) and highly anticipated the call on Monday to confirm my car was ready for collection. This unfortunately wasn't the case. I therefore cannot recommend this garage to anyone and wanted to make others aware of my experience. Its wasted my time, there own time and left me to write a review that id rather not give. I hope this gives others insight into potential expectations. Least I would say is ensure everything is written down and itemised before agreeing to anything.

My family and I have used The Garage for many years now with all of our different vehicles we have had over the years. Always happy to help, knowledgeable, quick turn around, keep me (us) updated throughout the process. Thank you guys keep up the good work.

They simply want your money. I called them *female BTW & told them about my really difficult situation, they told me they could possibly help but it would cost £100 to plug a device in to find out the diagnostics at this stage it felt too late to drive a van home that had already broken down. I left it there, contrary to what my instinct was telling me. They took their £100 gave me a bit of information and stated that its likely a big job. Literally paid them £100 to tell me what the AA team had already told me. No regard to the situation, just easy money! Would not reccomend.

Booked my car in for a timing chain replacement, it was left for over a week while on holiday giving plenty of time for the work to be completed, The garage was aware a week before this of the type of repair my vehicle required. On my return i contacted the garage to be told they hadn't carried out any work on my car as they did not have the correct tool to do the job. I rely on my vehicle for work and was left to find another garage for the repair which has caused me a lot of inconvenience. I would NOT recommend this garage as i feel my time has been wasted.
