Refreshingly fantastic service!! I recently changed salons as my old hairdresser has gone on Maternity leave. I was afraid to trust my hair to just anyone. I gave the Creator a go because I saw such overwhelmingly great reviews on the Salon. I was not mistaken! Joanne absolutely nailed it! And her upbeat chat really makes you feel at ease. The lady assisting her to wash my hair was equally professional and kind offering me drinks and checking in on me. This is definitely a top salon, clean, spacious, tidy, current, I shall definitely be going back!!

Had a ladies cut and finish, cut and dried by Mark and curled by one of the apprentices (not sure of her name sorry!). Had a lovely experience and I absolutely love my hair. Mark did a thorough consultation and cut it at the perfect length, it looks and feels so much healthier. The girl who curled my hair was really friendly and did a great job too. I’ll definitely be coming back, thank you!

My first experience with this salon, particularly with Courtney, was disappointing. Courtney’s behavior was rude and aggressive; whenever I hesitated or asked a question, she would behave with anger at me and treat me with disdain. Additionally, the pricing and services were not transparent. Initially, I had booked my highlight appointment without bleaching(the highlight price is £85 on the website)and was told £30 for blow drying,but when I decided to include bleaching, I was told that I would need to pay an additional £30 for the toner. However, at checkout, they tried to charge me even more than what we had agreed upon, increasing the cost of the blow-dry and the toner. This felt like a breach of trust and unprofessional conduct, as it’s unfair to change the terms after the agreement. I would never come back again and I am not happy with the service. REPLY TO MARK: Thank you for your message Mark, but I need to correct several factual points and clarify what actually happened. First, I did not show a different photo. This is simply untrue. During my consultation last week, I clearly explained what I wanted, and I did not present a new reference image on the day of the appointment. Second, regarding the pricing: Before starting the service, Courtney told me that highlights without bleach were £85. When I said I wanted to switch to bleach, she clearly said it would be £30 extra, and I confirmed the full breakdown with her: • £85 highlights • £35 blow-dry • £30 toner She fully agreed to this total. However, at checkout a higher price was given to me. Only after I questioned the bill did she say she would “do me a favour” and charge the original £30 for toner and £35 for the blow-dry. This felt misleading and unprofessional. Third, regarding the deposit: I told the staff very clearly when they overcharged me that I had already paid a £50 deposit. Despite this, they gave me a total of £121 “after deducting the deposit.” When I walked back to the salon for a refund, I was told “the system made a mistake” they confirmed I paid deposit and now she said she thought I did not pay deposit??? Fourth, regarding behaviour and service: From the very beginning of the appointment, Courtney was already tense, rude, and impatient. Her attitude was unfriendly from the moment I arrived, even before any discussion about the service. When I paused to ask a question or answer her questions, she raised her voice at me and spoke in a snappy, aggressive tone. This was not a welcoming or professional experience at all, and it made me feel uncomfortable throughout. I shared and will share my experience. I understood and accepted the cost of the toner. The issue was never the price. The real issues were the lack of transparency, the incorrect billing, and the consistently unprofessional behaviour.

Second visit and amazing job both times. Blonde hair highlights done beautifully by Joanne who spares no expense making your hair look flawless. Talented team of people, great coffees, and lovely atmosphere.

Nicola has been styling and colouring my hair for nearly 3 decades! It’s a testament to her skill and service that I’m still coming, despite now living 140 miles away. Highly recommend!
