I’m currently on section 3 at Stanage and the staffs are amazing sometimes they might not give you leave when you ask but they always try there best to give you what you want I am still struggling but if it wasn’t for me being here I probably wouldn’t be the person I am today I probably would’ve ended up dead thanks Stanage team you do an amazing job.

Absolutely terrible hospital. Actually made my mental health worse. Was manhandled by staff and left with bruises. I had a patient who was kicking me and pulling my hair and staff barely did anything to keep her away. Bare in mind I did not go near this patient she would go out of her way to find me. In the end they moved me and not her but I'm glad they moved me.because cygnet was much better. The NHS has become a joke. also the doctors barely helped and didn't prescribe me the medication for my condition. I will say I was a hostile patient but I never hurt anyone I was abused by both staff and patients. Absolutely terrible place

Huge safeguarding issues that need addressing asap

Very supportive staff very good MDT stayed on dovedale 2 for 3 months. No misconduct facilitated my requests first time of asking

Absolutely disgusting care of someone suffering severe Mental Health Anxiety attacks. The staff need training or go work in a baby ward. They do not answer emails. DON'T LET YOUR FRIENDS OR RELATIVES BE SENT HERE. Update! Family member had a full anxiety attack due to uncaring staff giving him information he shouldn't have been given. He was also BULLIED by another patient but strangely the staff said he didn't report it (we know he did). They had him arrested for assault on the staff, the Police could find no evidence to this and he was acquitted. Everything has been swept under the carpet, no surprise there.
