I felt safe, constantly assisted, looked after and cared for. Everyone was so professional but at the same time courteous and friendly. I definetly entered theathre a lot calmer than other times. Plenty of staff, all amazing in their roles. My procedure, by a stroke of luck was funded by the NHS, so If anything, the experience was too good as now I can't think of having any procedure anywhere else that isnt Thornbury! What an impressive hospital and staff, best in have ever experienced in my life.

This is a beautiful private hospital on the outskirts of Sheffield and my family has used it in the past for various procedures and specialists. Easy to get to and lots of parking facilities. Managed to get a last minute appointment which was just what I needed. Worth the cost I would have had to wait 3 - 6 months otherwise. The staff and nurses were very professional and polite. The doctor I met with was first class and helped me with my specific needs for my diabetes.

This is the easiest 5 star rating i have ever given! My whole experience at Thornbury has been absolutely brilliant. The hospital is spotless and my room was newly refurbished with so much attention to detail. All the staff were truly wonderful and were so very very kind, caring and attentive. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble. I felt totally safe and was not at all nervous as I knew I was in safe hands. The food and menu choices were superb as well as the supply of lovely cappuccinos and fresh ice cold water. All in all a totally wonderful experience, something you would never think having an operation in hospital would be. I can't thank you all enough!

I can’t thank Andrew Baxter enough for my surgery. After years of other doctors not listening to me and dismissing my symptoms, he truly did everything I had hoped for. He made me feel heard, believed, and completely validated, which means more than I can put into words. I’m sorry I can’t remember the names of all the other staff I encountered, but every single person provided outstanding care and went above and beyond. This is exactly what healthcare should feel like. The atmosphere throughout the hospital was so warm and reassuring, even the receptionists and anesthesiologist were chatty, laughing, and making jokes, which instantly put me at ease. An exceptional experience from start to finish.

From consultation, through admission, surgery and discharge the level of care, information and discussion was faultless. The appointments were convenient, and thoroughly explained. The level of care, and service was second to none I felt completely secure and content and couldn’t have asked for a better level of care. Thank you so much.
