The Laundry Club

This is a very nice launderette - clean, spacious, plenty of free parking, quiet and lots of seating. It's not cramped like a lot of launderettes which helps a lot. Staff are also friendly and helpful. My only recommendation is that signs are put up to ask customers to not use excessive laundry detergent and that the machines are wiped down in between customers to remove detergent, and ideally fabric softener is not used. I washed my duvet in my own mild allergy-friendly detergent but when I got home it smelt strongly of a different heavily fragranced detergent/possibly fabric softener. I suffer from migraines and allergies and unfortunately the smell triggered a migraine so I have had to recycle my duvet. So if you have allergies or get migraines from fragrance make sure you wipe the machine down before use and thoroughly clean the detergent/softener sections of the machine.

By far the nicest laundromat in ENGLAND! 5 washers, 6 dryers, all working perfectly. Super friendly staff and very reasonable prices.

Needed a suit dry cleaning for a funeral and was not done by the day they said it would be. When I went to enquire a day later than they said after not hearing anything it was not there and when I came back later it was closed for no apparent reason. Had a right faff trying to get it sorted and added unneeded stress to an already stressful event. Staff were apologetic but didn't offer any explanation or refund ect. The hours that are printed on the door also do not match what's on Google. Won't be returning

Have been a few times mainly to use the dryers. Staff always helpful. I normally go and grab a coffee at Costa which is next door so very convenient. There’s also a Subway and McDonalds seconds away so you don’t have to sit in the laundrette if you don’t want to.

Took my king sized duvet in for washing and drying. It was thoroughly cleaned, with no evidence of the cup of coffee I’d dropped onto it 🥴. It smelled lovely and fresh. Would definitely use again.
