I go quite often but 1 thing changed everything, put £40 of diesel in then went to pay I’d forgotten my wallet, explained at counter took my reg I even offered to leave my iPhone. Told them I’ll be back in 5 minutes to pay , the cashier said you will come back otherwise they take it out of my payslip. Seriously that is a crime & bullying staff

I used to use this station a lot and would have given it 5 stars in the past. However, when filling up this time, the station had imposed a 'pay first before tanking up' system. This has caused me to reconsider using the station if this arrangement continues. I'm aware why they may have done this Approach. However, it was the first time I had come across this and doesn't help when you are driving a long way and are unsure how much petrol you need. A clunky system to resolve a problem. Therefore, two stars and the situation explained to inform others of the approach.

Pre pay only on fuel at this station, if you have an Esso card you can’t do that and you can’t get any fuel Absolutely ridiculous

Won't let bikers fill up and leave you sitting out on the tarmac. Apparently they have to see your face to check your age, or it might be because you're going to drive off without paying, which as we all know is impossible in a car. I didn't fancy stealing my £12 of fuel today but I decided to go elsewhere instead and give them my tiny amount of money for my tiny amount of fuel. At the very least talk to your customers over the tannoy or put up a sign, don't leave us sitting out there waiting. If your forecourt is so full of criminals I'm certainly not leaving my bike out there to come and pay you up front.

Use E5 petrol, E10 Will damage your engine quicker, plot by government to get cars off the road making way for electric junk . Esso E5 has got less ethanol and better m.p.g. achieved . Very friendly staff 👍
