Pelican Reviews has used these services regularly for washing and vacuuming cars. It is a great location, just off the inner ring road, but we and have had variable experiences. In Jun-22, we noticed jet wash times for each £1 have reduced from 3:00 to 2:30 mins. This is a modern and well designed SPAR-BP multiuse site, with a large minimarket and Subway food outlet. The forecourt is spacious, with great parking, modern fuel pumps and plenty of car cleaning points, each with air and water. Generally the jet washes are good, but occasionally out of order, or with maintenance issues (e.g. missing jet wash nozzle protector). We have had average to poor experiences with the vacuums on several occasions, e.g. little or no suction, or loose head. This is an attractive site for the passing motorist with what looks like excellent facilities. We feel that the customer service has declined, and equipment should be to the highest standard and well maintained on every visit. Our current rating is 3-Stars overall - please note we have not yet reviewed the automatic car wash. On 23-Jul-22: - Customer Service. We award just 2-Stars, as we had no change for the jet wash and vacuum and the till assistant was not willing to help at first. - Unlike previous visits, the assistant would not provide change from the till, saying she could not open the till, unless we bought something from the shop. - We were polite, explained that we did not need anything else, and change had been provided on many previous occasions. - After repeating the store's policy, we continued to politely press the assistant for help and eventually the assistant obliged. Vacuum #3 (from left) - working well. We avoided vacuums #2 and #4, which had let us down before and are unable to report their status. On 11-Jun-22: - - Vacuum #4. This had no suction, and we were offered a token to refund our £1 and moved. - Vacuum #2. After parking, we noticed there was no 'crevice tool' on the end of the flexi-pipe and the vacuum was unusable. - Vacuum #1, the tool on the pipe was split and the previous driver said he had problems. We had a quick look and repaired the crevice tool with a cable tie which we happened to have in our tool kit in the car - check out our photos. Then the token did not work in the vacuum, so another trip to queue up for the tills in the SPAR to get our £1 back. It took an hour to vac the car... we did think about trying another garage, but each time we had a problem, it looked like we had resolved it and decided to press on... to the next problem. On 29-Apr-22, our experience was better than recently. There was next to no suction in Vacuum #2 (2nd from left), we got our £1 refunded without a problem and moved to a new bay - job done. Customer service is variable as noted on 23-Jul-22. By contrast on 21-Jan-22 and the assistant in the SPAR (Mariam A) was so polite and very helpful: - - The vac we used had virtually no suction and our money was refunded with a smile and without delay. We completed the vac in another bay, and our reviewer left feeling so much more appreciated than on our last visit. On our visit in late 2021, we felt our custom was unimportant. We spent about £10, using all the spare pound coins we had with us. Afterwards, we popped into the SPAR to ask for some £1 coins for a £10 note, but were offered tokens, or had to buy something. We have exchanged notes for £1 coins before and it left us feeling disappointed and unappreciated.

This place is GREAT! Wide variety of snacks, both American and British. A great selection of drinks and many, many more. The store is huge and very unique to Sheffield so would definitely give it a visit if nearby. Overall, just a well put together store that is actually exciting to walk around because of the variety of products. Also has a halal subway and unique slush machines that dispense many flavours. Only down side I would say is the price:/

Worst ever place ! I went there and bought 30 pounds worth of car cleaning products and spend almost 10 pounds to clean my car .. and I usually wash my car myself every two weeks .. they send me a letter and gave Me a ticket of 100£ that I have to pay because apparently I took too long to wash my car which there was absolutely no one waiting anyway and there's few spots .. I don't recommend this place ! Do not go !

a variety of products available but i have just seen someone pay £7 for a bag of crisps and i think that’s ridiculous. everything is so overpriced and the staff are not the friendliest either. i bought a (cheaper) bag of crisps and it is half empty what a scam

BP spar behall lane is the best station in sheffield, the best service, staff and prices you can find in the whole city. Never have i been treated better by staff and made to feel so at home in a new city. Much love to Mustafa and all the staff!!!
