Royal Mail Sheffield City Delivery Office

Something appears to be not working at Sheffield Sorting Office, with sorting post for Lincoln. Here in Lincolnshire, when we post our parcels, they don't go to the Lincoln office, they go to Sheffield. Now, this shouldn't be a problem, but when you're paying for a Tracked 24 service, and all other locations around the UK don't seem to have an issue in delivering in 24 hours, when it comes to my local customers in Lincolnshire, despite paying for a 24 hour service, they sit in Sheffield for 24 hours before returning to Lincoln, taking 2 days to arrive. Aside from the fact that it makes no sense in why all Lincs parcels have to go to Sheffield, if Sheffield can't handle local mail in a timely manner, perhaps this needs to be looked in to? It's been happening for months, and isn't good enough, especially when people are paying for a 24 hour service.

I sat at home for two whole days waiting to receive my package, but both of us came to lie and no one was home. Even when I went to the post office to pick up my package in person, the staff there were very disrespectful and rude. We all work for money. When you get paid but don't work, it shows the irresponsibility of your superiors who are not addressing this ridiculous situation.

Sunday 16th august 11:30, woman working the counter for post collection was incredibly rude to a customer in front of me, talked down to them the entire time due to them not understanding something, raised their voice to them multiple times and clearly made the customer extremely uncomfortable. Then proceeded to joke about the customer to the following person in the queue. Absolutely disgusting way to treat someone just going about their day.

Sent important documents with tracked 24 exactly a week ago now and they are still showing on the tracking as in transit. Scanned as “received” 3 times at sheffield mailing centre on different days. Says a lot when their customer service wait times are 40+ minutes… Update: still showing as undelivered. I requested a refund in May and it’s now September and i’ve been sent around in circles and told it’s taken so long for them to respond due to a system change. September and they’ve told me they’re keeping my money and to contact someone else in a different part of Royal Mail (Who i’ve already spoken to)

My parcel has been stolen from this centre and no one wants to take full accountability for my item. I have phoned up numberous of time and they rudly hang up the phone .
